Most Hispanics can or do trace their roots to Mexico, Spain or another Spanish colony which more likely than not would have been established as a "Catholic" colony as well. Three Kings Day is basically a Catholic holiday. I have yet to meet a non-Hispanic, non-Catholic Christian who has even ever heard of Three Kings Day. You can't celebrate what you have never heard of. BTW, Three Kings Day is not the end of the Christmas Holiday, Candlemas on February 2 is. When you celebrate Three Kings Day tomorrow, don't let the person who finds the baby Jesus in the Rosca de Reyes get out of making tamales and atole on Candlemas. :) I am not aware of how Catholic non-Hispanics celebrate Three Kings Day. Some of them even exchange their gifts on Three Kings, and not on Christmas. I know Santa comes from Saint Nick, but the image of the jolly guy dressed up in red giving out gifts really has no religous conotation...
