Did magi visit a babe in a manger at Bethlehem, or a child in a house at Nazareth?
How many magi would it take to stir up all Jerusalem at feast time, plus Herod who lived elsewhere? Could it be magi were baby-lonian jews, coming to worship their childish King: Law?

I believe they didn’t get there till he was a bit older.
But I don’t think they were Babylonian Jews, I think they were scribes, astronomers, scientists… they had preserved the prophecies of Daniel concerning the birth of the messiah from when he was in captivity in Babylon during the Jewish exile there.
