ok the problem is uss enterprise is an earth ship form 24th ct. and located in milkyway. And the imperial accumulator class is probably there in the space before our space exploration attempts in another galaxy.(far far away long time ago) my point is they wouldnt be standing still on laser weapons.

Even if it weren’t the matter of weapons, Star Wars ships can’t target anything going faster than light. Star Trek ships can easily fight while going faster than light, and they regularly do.

Hardly. Again, check out the Clone Wars movie. We see two capital ships engaging in atmosphere. If what you say is true, the explosins from each of those weapons would have turned the area hundreds of milse around them into a radioacitve wasteland.
Yet I can’t recall Kenobi dying in that movie.

Um, you can’t seem to remember what you’re saying from post to post, can you actually stand on an issue first? And second, what you say is rather unlikely. Take the Ryloth minseiries in the new Clone Wars episodes. We saw what the Enterprise could do with 500 gigajoules. If each laser shot was 8 terajoules (16x stronger), a few shots would have vaporized an entire village. Why then, carry heavy specialized bombs?

Hold the phone, 200 gigatons for Star Wars? Utterly impossible. If what you say is true, then why didn’t those three Venator class starships vaporize the asteroid field that Grievous was using as cover in Downfall of a Droid? Or why didn’t we see massive nuclear explosions when those two capital ships were fighting in the atmosphere of a planet in Jedi Crash?

Okay, to clear up a …
Okay, to clear up a bit about the laser. While it is possible that the laser is strong enough to overcome the Enterprise D’s defelctor dish, it’s more probably that the tractor beam that the Borg were using (which the beam fired through) negated that effect.
And um…I don’t think phasers are 600 MW. That’s kind of silly when the old NX series had torpedoes in the 50 MT range…a ship that is 200 years out of date.
