What are frankincense and myrrh?


Frankincense is a gum or resin obtained from the sap of certain trees, and used as incense in some religious ceremonies. Myrrh is the same sort of stuff, from a different plant.

    Frankincense are myrrh are both plant-derived resins used to make incense and perfume.
