Senior Citizen’s, Have you tried frankincense and myrrh?
Where do I find it?
What does it smell like?
Bill,
I know what it is.
Frankincense and Myrrh are fragrant resins that have been used as incense and medicine by many cultures for thousands of years. The spiritual and healing properties of these resins and other fragrant plants have been forgotten by many.
Have you used this aroma in you home to freshen the air?
I have used myrrh, it is a gum type substance from a tree. It is has healing properties and I used it in some healing ointment that I made with other herbs.
Never had any frankincense to work with.
Here’s where to get frankincense oil. I don’t know where to get myrrh. And I don’t know what they smell like.

What do you mean by "tried" it? You don’t ingest it or smoke it. You know the incense they burn and wave the smoke around in church? That’s it. It smells nice, but you wouldn’t want to inhale it.

You’ll have to go to Arabia; now called Yemen.
They come from small shrubs or bushes.
I don’t think I’ve ever had any anywhere.
