Spin classes are very popular these days and they have almost reached a cult like stature. However, are they really that great of a workout?

Spin is a great workout because it is very intense and it definitely has it’s place in the fitness regimen. What makes it so great is the fact that it is very similar to interval training.

You go fast and then you go slow and that works really well to burn fat and build some learn muscle. You should definitely mix things up a little and add some great exercises to lose weight like resistance training.

Using that, you should be able to burn fat and have some fun doing it. Spin can work for you, just make sure you add some resistance training and a good nutrition program.
