In anime she dies due to contract with Demon but bring back to the life by Negi Party after some ritual(its been two years since I ve watched it so cant remember the detail)..that was an filler kind of story cause in manga that never happened and in manga Asuna do have a mysterious past and that s why magic has no effect on her.
No season two but there is an Negima neo with same basic plot but with different story and also there r like 10 ovas based on manga.

I haven’t read the story in many years, and I don’t have a copy handy.

Compare the gifts they gave each other (the watch fob and the hair do-dad). Were they thinking of themselves or each other?

Contrast that against the way Christmas is today. Do most of us really care about the spirit of giving as did the characters?

Wouldn’t we all like to experience such selfless love?

This is a lovely story by O’Henry and one of his most famous. For a lighter side of O’Henry I would suggest The Ransom of Red Chief.

Two points to consider. First, the Magi were first-rate astrologers and they saw the omens in the stars, including the one they were to follow. Thus, if the whole nativity story IS true (doubtful, to say the least), their knowledge of the event and its significance would have been totally natural.
Second point, in almost all of the myths of the god/man archetype in that part of the world, no man could be considered a "god/man" unless they had (some) god for a father. Part of the supernatural package accompanying this was the appearance of the "wise men" of whatever kind to attend/witness to the momentous event.

yeah, the age is puzzling me. especially the fact that negi have a sister. how old is the sister, since it seems as if asuna is already 5 when nagi n the queen married….so that left only 10 years for negi

asuna is a twilight princess, though i dont know wether asuna is related with the queen (erika, isn it?) but i do remember that age in the magical world is diffferent (they live till 300+).

still, asuna is insrtumental in helping negi restore peace, i think.
