I’m trying to keep the Christ in Christmas, after all.
I bought mine from www.mountainroseherbs.com No complaints. I bought both. The service is pretty good and the quality of the products is not bad at all.
I want to make "Gifts to a King" ornaments with my children’s group at church. I have ordered some clear plastic ball ornaments which I will fill about half way with some white sand. I have some plastic "gold" coins, but I’m not sure what I will use to represent the frankincense & myrrh? Any suggestions?
If you scroll down there are pictures of what they look like.

I would like to know frankincence oil distillition specialy boswelia carteri and boswelia fereana how much oil can distill per kilo.I willappreciate your information.
Thank you
The yield of distillation of oil from gum resin is typically from 3-10%. So a kilo of resin would net you as much as 100 grams of oil. Probably much less.
You can buy it at Catholic Book shops such as St Paul’s Multi Media on Kensington High Street and also:

What is the significance of Gold, Frankincense and Myrrh?
And why did the shepherds or Wise Men give this to Jesus?
There have been several ideas, but they are all speculative, they are all guesses.
One guess is that all three of these gifts were gifts usually given to a king. Gold is wealth, myrrh was used as an anointing oil, frankincense was a perfume.
Another idea is that gold is a symbol of Jesus’ kingship on earth, frankencense a symbol of priesthood (because priests used incense), and myrrh was an oil used for embalming, so it was a symbol of death.
My mother -in-law has stage 4 melanoma, will this help her?
The essential oil will clean wounds, help most skin problems, ease respiratory issues, clean a counter top effectively, and get sticker residue off. And it smells amazing. Could you be more specific with your question?
*Edit* There is no definite proof that I have heard of that it would have any effect. Trials aren’t that extensive in the matter, and the ones I’ve heard of are questionable at best. I would try it with a doctors ok, as an alternative therapy. I wouldn’t expect it to help much, but there is always hope.
From this website, which is the best brand of essential oil i can buy?

the choices are:
Aura Cacia
Starwest Botanicals
Oshadhi
NOW foods
In my opinion, the Now Foods brand is the best bargain. Aura Cacia is the absolute best quality and highest standards. If you want it for perfume, go with the AC. If you want the medicinal purposes primarily, buy the Now. Note that the AC brand is diluted with jojoba oil. They do make it undiluted but it’s about $22. (See the link.) Depending on how you are going to use it, this diluted oil may not work. The Now brand says it is 20% frankincense in grapeseed oil. The Oshadi is undiluted and the best buy if that’s what you need, but I’m unfamiliar with the company. (See the link.)
