The 3 Wise Men?

Sunday, January 17th, 2010

The three wise men arrived to visit the child lying in the manger. One of the wise men was exceptionally tall and bumped his head on the low doorway as he entered the stable. ‘Jesus Christ!’ he exclaimed.

Joseph said, ‘Write that down, Mary; it’s better than Clyde!’
Ha Ha Millie,,I’m Catholic lol xx

Stop it my kidney’s are aching!

question about the star that led the 3 wise men to jesus?

Thursday, January 14th, 2010

how did that star maneuver from thousands light years away from home to a specific spot on earth?

The star was really a UFO that the wise men called a star not knowing it was a UFO. We must remember that these ancient people could only describe what they saw with the vocabulary that they had at that time. The way Ezekiel is describing hearing and then seeing the flying machine of God’s is one example of this. Jonah’s description of the submarine of God’s as a whale or big fish that abducted him is another example of these people trying to describe something they have never seen before.

If the 3 wise men were so wise, why did they follow a star to find a babby who never existed?

What’s a babby?

What would Mary and Joseph have done with the presents that the 3 Wise men gave Jesus?

Tuesday, December 29th, 2009

My daughter was pondering this question. And so I am now. Would they have kept them or given them away?

Most probably it was used to fund the journey of Joseph, Mary and baby Jesus to Egypt because of the threat from Herod.

Why do people think that JESUS was born in December and there were only 3 wise men, when a simple study shows?

Friday, December 18th, 2009

1) JESUS was not born on Dec 25.
Nimrod was, and since he is the person that supposedly became the sun-god after he died, that is why the sun-god was born on that date in every culture
2) There were not only 3 wise men, The BIBLE tells of 3 treasures, but those were not just gifts from strangers. They were HIS inheritance from Daniel, being delivered by Babylonian astronomers. After waiting for hundreds of years to deliver it, and knowing that they had to cross areas were thieves stayed, they would have been fools to take such treasures without many guards.

1)Your right,Jesus wasn’t born on Dec. 25, this is simply the day that his coming 2 earth is celebrated…
2)Yes,there could hav been over 5000 wisemen, but since this would be hard to put on a manger scene most manger scenes hav 3 wisemen as a symbol of the 3 gifts. Unfortunately many Christians believe that there were only 3 wisemen,as this is what they see,as many Christians are too lazy to research everything in their Bible.

I understand my answer wont be chosen as best, because on questions like this the asker usually chooses an answer that is most like there own, but,i wanted to inform you that well informed Christians are not idiots as you seem to believe.

What about those 3 wise men?

Sunday, December 6th, 2009

If 3 wise women showed up instead of 3 wise men, do you think they would have showed up on time, helped deliver the baby, and brought more practical gifts than a bunch of incense?

If 3 wise women showed up…
1. They probably would have shown up on time because modern plumbing and curling irons hadn’t been invented yet.
2. They’d probably would have helped deliver the baby.
3. I’m sure they would have brought cloth diapers, and whatever practical baby items they had way back then. Maybe a little wine to celebrate the occasion as well.

How long did it take the 3 Wise men to find Jesus?

Can you name some of the other gifts considered by the 3 Wise Men?

Sunday, November 15th, 2009

Would they have given a clapper of a chia pet?

I think they wanted some Dora the Explorer dolls but there was too much lead content for a baby savior to handle. So they opted for Murr.

Have you heard of the 3 Wise Men Joke?

Thursday, November 12th, 2009

A man was driving through Bethlehem Texas, he drove past the fire house with baby Jesus in the Manger with Mary and Joseph and then he pulled into the gas station and asked the lady who was working that night and asked what’s with the Naivety Scene? She asked don’t you read your bible? he said yeah. ……….. Didn’t you know the Wise men came from a fire?
for you who don’t understand, here is the punch line. They came from a fire.

Everyone, I made a question and it’s teach all religions in the world why there is evil in the world and teach them about God and what he wants. All Christians it would be a great thing if you came and help me teach all these people.

I am laughing more at the comments than at the joke.

Why at Christmas are the 3 wise men given so much non biblical credit?

Friday, November 6th, 2009

If you read the account in the Bible the three wise men or astrologers were sent by King Herod to reveal the location of Jesus so that Herod could have him killed. When they got to Jesus, God had to warn them to not carry out their mission so they split. Herod when he found out he was dumped went in a rage and killed every boy 2 and under.

The three wise men were not goody goodies they were sent to see Jesus killed. And Jesus was not a baby in a crib since Herod ascertained Jesus to be at least a 2 year old toddler.

You’re pretty close to being right.
The three wise men were indeed nothing special.
Some believe (including me), that the star was Satan.
It was he leading the astrologers to Jesus so that they could take his whereabouts to Herod.
