If the 3 wise men were so wise, why did they follow a star to find a babby who never existed?

    Since Jesus existed, your question is irrelevant. NOTE: I don’t think the Bible mentions 3 wise men.

    Magi are magicians/wizards. They’re not "wise". They were following magical signs.

    They were wise men, but they were the Magi specifically. If you don’t know anything about the Magi, they were a group of Persian priests that traveled with military guard, which is why Herod was scared when they came to town. They knew Christ had been born because the same star/cloud/flame that led the Israelites out of Egypt led them to Christ. They know about Christ because in Daniel 6, king Darius put Daniel in charge of the Magi.

    But as the other people stated: Why do you believe that the three wise men in the book existed if you don’t believe in the book or Jesus?

    Since Jesus existed your question is irrelevant.

    1. There is no mention of three men, only 3 gifts.

    2. Why would you believe a 2000 year old myth, anyway? One of stone age starving goat herders?

    3. Don’t you think that the copying and recopying and miscopying of a set of documents would contain a multitude of errors???????
