can one FOOL ask more questions than 3 wise men can answer?

Tuesday, September 29th, 2009

Any truly wise man would admit that he does not know everything, likewise three wise men can be asked questions of the unknown. The answer is Yes.

Does God exist?
Is there life after death?
Can the almighty God create a rock so heavy he can’t lift it?

Please rate if you found this helpful or amusing.

frankincense, does it work?

My mother -in-law has stage 4 melanoma, will this help her?

The essential oil will clean wounds, help most skin problems, ease respiratory issues, clean a counter top effectively, and get sticker residue off. And it smells amazing. Could you be more specific with your question?

*Edit* There is no definite proof that I have heard of that it would have any effect. Trials aren’t that extensive in the matter, and the ones I’ve heard of are questionable at best. I would try it with a doctors ok, as an alternative therapy. I wouldn’t expect it to help much, but there is always hope.

How did the tradition of exchanging gifts REALLY start, from the wise men or Saturnalia?

Tuesday, September 29th, 2009

If Christmas gifts remind us of the gifts that were exchanged in Rome during Saturnalia, then what do the gifts the 3 wise men bought baby Jesus symbolize, I read that the tradition of exchangeing gifts started when the three wise men bought gifts to baby Jesus, well then how do we know that the tradition of exchangeing gifts didn’t start when people exchanged gifts in Rome during Saturnalia?

The only way christmas gifts could be a reminder of the gifts the wise men brought would be if WE gave gifts to poor strangers because that is what Christ was to these men. Not giving to those who have plenty already.

What star war books can i read which take place after episode 6?

Tuesday, September 29th, 2009

Ive heard about how there are books which take place after the movie return of the Jedi… And the emperor comes back, a new super star destroyer… Which books?

There are quite a few books that continue the story line after ROTJ and include some of the elements that you are looking for. You are probably referring to the Thrawn Trilogy by Timothy Zahn, which takes place about 5 years after ROTJ and are among the best books in the series.

If you are interested in reading about the characters after the events of ROTJ, this would be a good place to start. I would recommend the following books/series in this order:

The Truce at Bakura
The Thrawn Trilogy
The Jedi Academy Trilogy
I, Jedi
The Black Fleet Crisis Trilogy
The Corellian Trilogy
The Hand of Thrawn Duology
The New Jedi Order
The Dark Nest Trilogy
Legacy of the Force

You might also want to read the X-Wing books, which you can fit in around the other books.

I would recommend reading these books in the order above. If you really want to get into the characters, don’t miss the New Jedi Order (NJO) books, which cover more ground and are much more dramatic than any of the events from previous books and the movies. But you will want to have read the books listed above to get the most out of these stories.

In the front of each book, there is a timeline that will help you with books and series order. Stick with the timeline after ROTJ, and you should be fine. If you want to read some of the earlier books in the timeline (that happen before Ep. IV), you might want to wait until you get through some of the NJO books first. Some of the events in the earlier books will make more sense if you have read some of the later books.

I would also recommend the Republic Commando series, which take place after Ep. II. These books follow the exploits of a couple of groups of elite Clone Troopers.

What is MAGI after taking 401K loan?

Tuesday, September 29th, 2009

Say I make 90K a year and contribute 15K a year to my 401K therefore making my taxable income 75K. I decide to take a loan for 25K from my 401K during this same year. What is my MAGI at the end of the year?

I don’t think it will affect your MAGI unless you don’t repay it. A loan is not considered income.

Who was born on Dec 25th, accompanied by a star in the east, adorned by three kings, and became…?

Tuesday, September 29th, 2009

a prodigal teacher at age 12, began his ministry at age 30, had 12 disciples, performed miracles such as healing the sick and walking on water, was known as "the truth, the light, Gods anointed son, the lamb of God, etc", was crucified, buried for three days, and was ressurected?

Give up? it’s Horus, of Egypt.

Oh, there were other’s like him too…Attis, Krishna of India, Dionysus of Greece, Mythra of Persia, Budha Sakia of India, Salvihanna of Bermuda, Osiris of Egypt, Odin of the Scandinavians, Crite of Chaldea, Zoroaster of Persia, Baal and Taut of Phoenecia, Indra of Tibet, Bali of Afganistan, Jao of Nepal, Wittoba of Bilingonese, Thammus of Syria, Atys of Phrygia, Adad of Assyria, Diva Tat of Siam, Alcides of Thebes, Beddru of Japan, Eros of the Druids, Thor of Gauls, Cadmus of Greece, Quexalcote of Mexico, Mohamud of Arabia and many others. Oh, did I forget to mention Jesus of Nazereth?
…..All of them virgin-born, crucified saviors

"Three kings", a constellation of three stars, lines up with the star in the east and the rising of the sun on Dec 25th. So if you were born on Dec 25th, you were accompanied by a star in the East and 3 kings. And vice versa.

I FIRMLY AGREE!!!

The problem is, Yashua – (Jesus) – was not born on December 25th. He was born on the first day of the festival of Sukkot while heading to Jerusalem for the feast. His father had to stay in the city of Bethlehem because His wife was in labor.

Many Christians mistake the Manger for a hay bin for animals – it was actually a manger – booth – sukkah – (which was the dwelling for the festival of sukkot).

So yeah, you’re right.

The reason that Christians celebrate it as Christmas and on December 25th is because the Catholic church hijacked the entire new testament church in the 3rd century under Constantie and turned it into what it is today.

They violated Deut 13 by mixing pagan holidays into the worship of our Lord and Savior.

Don’t you get it? There is a spiritual war going on that started on the day Adam and eve fell. The armies of darkness own the world powers which at that time was – yep, you guessed it – ROME.

What better way to drown out the voices of light and truth then to blur the lines with pagan doctrine to introduce another messiah and make the real one out to be a liar.

The enemy is VERY sly.

In the traditions of men you will find ALL of the contradictions you need to come against Chritianity, Catholicism and the church – but I’m sorry to inform you that the case for Messiah Yashua is ROCK solid!

GREAT QUESTION! Seriously!

Shalom.

Three wise men and mischievous boy problem?

Monday, September 28th, 2009

While three wise men are asleep under a tree a mischievous boy paints their foreheads red. Later they all wake up at the same time and all three start laughing. After several minutes suddenly one stops. Why did he stop?

He stopped laughing because he realized he was also painted.
